ABOUT ME

I’ve lived and breathed Muay Thai — training in Thailand and New Zealand — and I also love the fusion of K1 Kickboxing. Both martial arts are a huge part of my life, and I stand by the belief that mastering the basics and foundations is what makes us truly great.

Can we ever be perfect? Of course not. But I’ll always strive to improve — and I help my clients do the same, whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, or experienced martial artist.

I started this journey because I wanted to feel strong and capable — to defend myself and weaponise my body. But over time, I realised it was about so much more: the competition, the camaraderie, the team spirit, the roaring crowds, and the personal growth that comes from showing up consistently.

Although my fighting career shifted because of life decisions, that same fire fuels me today as a coach, padholder, and striking & clinch specialist. Am I the best? No. But I’m dedicated, experienced, and honest — and I know how to help people unlock their potential.

What I love most about Muay Thai and Kickboxing is the discipline, comraderie, respect, commitment, and resilience it builds. Not everyone will compete, and that’s completely okay. For me, it’s about giving your all — while you have this one precious life.

I’m fascinated by how the human body moves, adapts, and expresses power. I’m not here for violence — I’m here for mastery, self-respect, and growth through movement.

MY COACHING METHODOLOGY

My approach begins with understanding where you are right now — whether through shadow boxing, pad work, bag work, sparring, or reviewing fight footage. This assessment helps identify the areas you want to improve, so we can focus intentionally rather than trying to work on everything at once.

From beginners to advanced Muay Thai and Kickboxing practitioners, I start with the fundamentals — foundations, form, and basics — because they matter at every level. Even at the highest stages, strong fundamentals create consistency, resilience, and growth.

If you already train at a gym, our sessions will give you clear takeaways to integrate into your regular practice. If you train on your own, I’ll provide practical ways for you to practice and progress anywhere.

This is my philosophy: build strong foundations, focus intentionally, and grow with purpose.
