WHO THIS WORK MIGHT SUIT?

  • Muay Thai & Kickboxing Martial Artists and Practitioners that want to:

    • Improve there technique

    • Discover drills and exercises to hone their technique

    • Understand why their movement is the way it is

    • How to adjust and fix certain movements to enable better technique hence allowing more precision, power and speed

  • Muay Thai & Kickboxing Martial Artists and Practitioners that are registered and signed up to a gym but may not be getting 1-on-1 coaching and attention at the gym and potentially the 1-on-1 coaching provided at your gym could be financially burdensome or the coaches there are too busy with there fight team (I totally get this and understand this)

  • Those that want to learn basics & fundamentals even if they are doing well (I truly believe we all have technique that we can improve on unless you are a 200+ fight Thai! Your probably well equipped on the basics!

  • Who just want extra support on top of their normal gym and regular coaching team - I am an addition to your regular coaching team

  • Who want to discuss mental and emotional aspects of Muay Thai & Kickboxing

  • Who want to improve and have an understanding that to improve good form and technique that it takes time and intentional action to improve.

WHO THIS IS NOT FOR?

  • Who want to look “cool” - I’m not really about that. I never did martial arts and picked up Muay Thai & Kickboxing for that. The spinning back kicks, spinning reverse elbows, the superman punches - if that’s what your about then I'm not the right coach for you.

  • Who don’t want to learn - I don’t know everything about Muay Thai & Kickboxing, I don’t think anybody does but I have learnt and applied enough to be able to help someone grow in some of those areas, if you think you are better than me, then it won’t be a fit for us.

  • Who want the quick fixes - Yes I am for sure going to offer some technical adjustments and exercises to do, are they going to be “quick” - not at all, I believe in taking the time to learn techniques and it will only work when you are fully committed to improving that change can occur. But if you believe in quick fixes then I am not your coach.

  • Who want to fight and not willing to take the time to learn - I will have much more respect for anyone with 0-1 fights that is taking the time to ensure their form is great than someone with 20+ fights that has poor form can cannot even throw punches, kicks, knees, elbows properly.

  • Who believe they have all the answers and are better than me. If you have all the answers, I probably need to be coached by you! I will be the first to say I don’t know something when I do not know it. Do I have 100 fights under my belt? NO but what I do have is consistency, turning up, being on time, committment, respect, basic foundations and a desire to educate myself. Martial Arts humbles me, there is so much for me to learn and if you are better than me, I will be the first to say, I cannot coach you as you are beyond my level of expertise.
